Valeria Emelia Kropidlowski

Valeria's middle name is "Emelia" as recorded in the Winona Catholic Diocese records. Minnesota State records recorded her full name as "Valeria Emilia Zackrzewski." Valeria's middle name is occasionally incorrectly represented with the letter "P."

Obituary:
Mrs. Valeria E. Kropidlowski, 67, 964 East King Street, died at 2:30AM today at Community Memorial Hospital after a several month illness. The former Valeria Zakrzewski was born June 25, 1903 in Winona to Vincent and Frances Bonik Zakrzewski and was a lifetime resident of the area. She was married to Carl Rieger on May 25, 1921 and he died on October 15, 1933. She was married to Stanley Kropidlowski on January 22, 1936 and he died on March 24, 1957. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Church and the Winona Athletic Club auxiliary. Survivors include a son, Frank Rieger, Winona; a daughter, Mrs. Edmund (Dorothy) Wantock, Winona; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and a brother, John Zakrzewski, Winona. Five sisters and two brothers have died.
Funeral services were at 9AM at St. Stanislaus Church, the Rev. Thomas J. Hargesheimer officiated. Pallbearers were Richard Myszka, William Curbow, Stanley Wieczorek, Roy Bell, Frank Jereczek, and George Grupa. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery.
