He was born in Grant County, Marion, Indiana in 1942. John attended 1st grade in Portsmouth, Virginia.; then moved to Kokomo, Indiana. He graduated High School in 1960; joined the army and ended his army career in the 7th Cavalry. John attended Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana, Chaffey College, and California State University and he taught history for 40 years; was a History Department Head, He grew up all over the United States; was born in Marion, Grant County, Indiana, and then lived consecutively in Kokomo, Indiana, Pensacola, Florida, Pine Grove, Georgia, Columbus, Georgia, Norfolk, and Portsmouth Virginia, Gas City, Indiana, Portsmouth, Ohio, Bloomington, Indiana, Martinsville, Indiana, Munich, Germany with visits to London, England, the Cotswold's region of England and Strafford on Avon, Belgrade, Yugoslavia, Milano and Brindisi, Italy, Athens, Delphi, and Greece, and Tinos, Greece, and Mykonos, Greece, Ontario, California, Rialto, California, and Gold Canyon, Arizona.

He authors the following books A Legacy of El Cid; An America Family Connection to the History of Early French Kings; Early European Royalty; A Noble Enforcement: The Magna Carta Twenty-Five (Our Heritage) (Volume 4); Scotland and Beyond: Our Heritage, Donald Trump's Triumph? A Short Analysis of Mr. Trump's Positions, and America; The Refuge.

The author has been in teaching and administrative positions in the field of education for the past 45 years. Mr. Warden is a graduate of Chaffey College, Indiana University, and California State University. His fondest memories of teaching are his students and occasionally, spontaneous standing ovations after a lecture. He has taught courses at the college level AP course and High School level as well as courses for the U.S. Department of Labor and Service Company, Cherry Hill, MD. As an administrator, he has supervised and managed two separate departments of education by being the supervisor of both the Academic and Vocational offices of the Job Corps. He has served as a veteran of the U.S. Army and in his later military assignments, he was attached to the famed Seventh Cavalry in Fort Benning, Georgia just prior to its deployment to Viet Nam. He has been noted as a Who is Who in the West, twice awarded for meritorious achievements by MTC, and rated publicly before his peers by a Federal Reviewer for excellent administrative work for Job Corps.
