11. Jonathan4 Pidcock (Charles3, Jonathan2, Jonathan1)(4144) was born in Amwell Twp, Hunterdon Co, New Jersey September 6, 1783. Polly died February 2, 1861 Lambertville, Hunterdon Co, NJ, at 77 years of age.

He married Mary Godown in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey, October 01, 1806. Polly was born in Amwell Twp, Hunterdon Co, New Jersey August 04, 1784. Polly(4145) was the daughter of John Godown Sr and Mary D Rounsavill. Polly died June 23, 1876 Lambertville, Hunterdon Co, NJ, at 91 years of age. Jonathan Pidcock and his wife Mary Godown Pidcock were baptized in the Solebury church 4 October l8l8. Later, they transferred their membership to the Union Presbyterian Church of Georgetown and Lambertville. According to the Rev. Gerald Raymaker, Jonathan and Mary Pidcock helped to establish the church in Lambertville. Early in its history, Jonathan served as a ruling elder and as a member of the Board of Trustees. Jonathan and Mary honored their pastor, the Rev. P.O. Studdiford, by naming a son after him. (from Pidcock Family Association)

In the 1850 census Amwell Twp Hunterdon Co page 12B, Jonathan (age 66) is recorded with Mary (age 66) Elizabeth (age 32) Studiforth? (male age 26) Catharine (age 24) Laverne (age 15) Jonathan (age 3) and Elizabeth (age 1)

In the 1860 census Lambertville Amwell Twp Hunterdon Co page 475, Jonathan (age 76) is recorded with Mary (age 75) Elizabeth (age 42) Peter S (age 35) Catherine (age 33) Joseph (age 14) Jonathan (age 13) Elizabeth (age 11) and Augustus (age 1)

Jonathan Pidcock and Mary Godown had the following children:

child 20 i. Martha5 Pidcock was born Lambertville, Hunterdon Co, NJ October 25, 1808. Martha died December 3, 1884 at 76 years of age. She married Stephen Chidester in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey, December 20, 1832. Stephen was born in New Jersey January 12, 1813. Stephen died about 1855 in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey. In the 1870 census Lambertville, West Amwell Twp, Hunterdon Co NJ page 421, Martha (age 65) is recorded in the household of Allen (age 30) and Emma (age 28) Moore. Martha is noted as a nurse.

In the 1880 census West Amwell, Hunterdon, New Jersey page 192, Martha (age 71) is recorded with her son-in-law Allen Moore (age 42) and daughter Emma (age 37) and family.

child + 22 iii. John Godown Pidcock was born October 20, 1810.

child 23 iv. Mary Jane Pidcock was born Lambertville, Hunterdon Co, NJ July 11, 1816. Mary died July 11, 1894 in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey, at 78 years of age. Buried at Mount Airy Cemetery Hunterdon County New Jersey She married Daniel B Holcombe in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey, May 21, 1836.

Daniel was born in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey June 23, 1811. Daniel was the son of George Holcombe and Catherine Butterfoss. Daniel died January 1, 1891 in Hunterdon Co, New Jersey, at 79 years of age. Buried at Mount Airy Cemetery Hunterdon County New Jersey (See Daniel B Holcombe for the continuation of this line.)

child 24 v. Elizabeth Pidcock(4146) was born Lambertville, Hunterdon Co, NJ 1817. Elizabeth died September 5, 1885 at 68 years of age. Elizabeth apparently never married and was noted as an invalid in some research.

child + 25 vi. Charles Pidcock was born October 10, 1819.

child + 26 vii. Peter Studdiford Pidcock was born March 3, 1824.
