Valenzuela, Metro Manila, Philippines
José Huerce was a Spanish Franciscan friar. He arrived in Manila, Philippines on 3 September 1934. He served as parish priest of Calbayog, Samar from 1835 to 1854. He moved to Polo, Bulacan (now Valenzuela City, Metro Manila), where he served as parish priest from 1856 to 1863, again from 1875 to 1879, from 1884 to 1886, and finally in 1890.
