About José de Llarena Olivares y Maldonado

José de Llarena Olivares y Maldonado, second possesor of the first Majorat of the House of Llarena, patron of the Chapel of San Pedro in the parish of Our Lady of the Conception, La Orotava. His last will was written in 1635 and unsealed in 1638.

He was appointed by the Royal Council of State to the rank of 'Maestre de Campo' and commanded a regiment (tercio).

He married Isabel Ana Calderon in La Orotava, on June 28, 1588. She was the Lady of the Calderon Majorat in Tenerife. Her last will was dated August 11, 1626. She was the daughter of Esteban Calderon Moreno de Franchi y Doya Gallego (first Lord of the Calderon Majorat and governor of Tenerife) and his wife María de Abarca de las Cuevas.
