Visiting Jamaica, W Indies, purpose--pleasure, intending to leave aboard the Santa Marta on Nov 22, 1916, sworn on Nov 16, 1916."

Ordained 1895.
In N Y Times of Sept 1, 1921--"Philadelphia, Aug 31--The Rev Joseph A Mulry SJ, former president of Fordham University, died here tonight after along illness (at 47). He was born in NYC in 1874 and entered the Jesuit order when only 15 yrs old, recving his ordination in 1905 from Cardinal Gibbons at Woodstock College.
In N Y Times Sept 2, 1921: "Fordham Univ Alumni Assn announces....death of Rev Joseph A Mulry SJ....passed away at Philadelphia on Aug 31 as a result of the illness which nec. his withdrawal from the pres. of Fordham Univ almost three yr ago. ....Mass 10:30 Sat morning at the Gesu, 18th & Stiles Sts, Phila."
He was appted Pres of St Peter's College and paster of St Peter's Ch on Grand St, Jersey City, in 1902.......in April, 1915, he became Pres of Fordham....his resignation of this office was only accepted after two attempts on his part to retire and enter war work in France....Of his four brothers three were priests, and the fourth, Thomas M, was Pres of the Emigrant Industrial Savings Bank."
