John, b. 26 Sept. 1689 (RVR); insufficient evidence has been found to authenticate if he reached maturity, married or left issue. ::: ::: 2. Alice, probably b. ca. 1690 (not listed in RVR); m. 13 Jan. 1708/9 at Swansea (SVR) Jacob Chase, probably b. at Yarmouth, MA or Swansea, probably d. at Swansea, son of Jacob Chase (William2, William1) and Mary Hall [George Walter Chamberlain, compiler, 'Some Desc. of William Chase of Roxbury and Yarmouth, MA.,' NEHGR, 87 (1933), p.52; hereinafter referred to as 'Chase Gen.']. Alice Bowen is confirmed by the Will of her grandfather, Obadiah bowen, executed 11 Dec. 1708 and probated 14 Oct. 1710 (BMPR 2:290).
