Joseph Price, Sr. was not the son of Daniel Price, II & Mary Price. There was no man named "Daniel John Price".

Joseph Price (1712-1783) married Ann Shores (1712-1791). She was the daughter of Richard Shores 1700 – 1750 & Susanna.

Together they had 9 children all in VA;

3. Joseph SHORES PRICE 1734 – 1801
4. John PRICE 1750 – 1820
5. Edmond PRICE 1752 – 1820
6. Hannah PRICE 1752 – 1832
7. Elizabeth Price 1754 – 1756
8. Judith PRICE 1758 –
9. Ann PRICE 1760 – 1832
10. Sarah Sally Price 1766 – 1845

Note: Joseph Price and Ann Shores had a son John, but he was not the same person as John L. Price, son of John Price and Ann Younger.

They farmed in Va, where he lived his whole life.
