Joseph Winn married his first cousin, Elizabeth Winn, dau of Thomas Winn (1720-1781) and Elizabeth Banister in 1775 in Lunenburg Co, Virginia, United States.

Elizabeth Winn (abt.1745-abt.1805) and Joseph Winn (1739-abt.1800) are both descendants of Unknown brother to Richard Winn Winn (abt.1675-).
