About Josephine Bracken
Josephine Bracken a foster daughter of George Edward Taufer and his first wife, Marie Leopoldine, after her mother died after giving birth to her in 1876. She was the common-law wife of Philippine national hero José Rizal during his exile in Dapitan in the province of Zamboanga del Norte in the southern Philippines. She died of tuberculosis in Hong Kong.
