Joshua Hilton, #1, died young

Sister Mary left a description of the Indian attack on the Hilton farm by Montsweag Stream. On July 31, 1747, her father, Ebenezer, and her brother, Joshua, were fatally wounded, while another brother, William was taken captive to Quebec, but he was later returned.
