"My Grandfather as I believe I have elsewhere mentioned died in Boston October 10, 1769 and was buried from the his house in Dock Square, in the family Tombs in the Chapel Burying Ground." _ Winslow Family Memorial, Volume 1 (Mass Historical Society), Chapter 5, Page 61. In this context, 'grandfather' refers to a statement by Isaac Winslow (1774-1856), the grandson of Joshua Winslow.
