About Judah Boone
Judah Boone was the son of James Boone, Sr., and wife Mary Foulke. He was born on December 10, 1746 in Berks County, Pennsylvania. He died on May 15, 1787 and was buried at Exeter Friends Burying Ground.
Judah operated a grist mill in Exeter. He was a frequent customer at his brother Moses' tannery. Those account books survive today. He received a bequest of a large tract of land in 'Elcess Township' (Alsace Township, Berks County) from his father's will.
He was married twice. Nothing known about first wife. His second wife was Hannah Lee, the daughter of Samuel and Mary Lee of Oley Township.They were married on November 15, 1770. Judah and Hannah had three children. After Judah's death, Hannah married Samuel Coates, a Quaker widower from Chester County, Pennsylvania.

- Mary Boone, born October 19, 1778, and married William Lee in Exeter, Berks Co., Pennsylvania, on May 7, 1801.
- Margaret Boone, born August 27, 1781, and married Jacob Thomas on December 4, 1800.
- Rachel Boone, born July 19, 1787.
