About Judith Clark

Possibly due to failing health, Robert Addams wrote his Will in Feb 1738. His estate was left to his wife Mourning, sons James and Robert and daughters Judith Clark, Mary Moreman [Moorman], Eliza Moreman [Moorman], Agnes Farguson [Ferguson], Susanna, Lucy, Anna the younger and Sally.

CHILDREN OF MICAJAH CLARK & JUDITH (ADAMS)

  1. Christopher Clark - born 23 Apr 1737 in Virginia, he married Mildred "Millicent" Terrell on 13 Mar 1757 in Albemarle Co., VA. He died in 1803 in Wilkes Co., Georgia.
  2. Mourning Clark - born on 06 Apr 1740 in Virginia.
  3. Micajah Clark - born 10 May 1741 in Virginia, and died in 1774. Micajah married Mildred Martin and moved to Kentucky. 
  4. John Clark - born on 06 Mar 1744 in Albemarle Co., VA and died in 1819 in Franklin, VA. He married Mary Moore on 21 Feb 1767 in Virginia.
  5. Edward Clark - born 12 Oct 1745 in Virginia.
  6. Judith Clark - born 13 Feb 1749 in Albemarle Co.; died in 1794. She married Andrew Moorman, son of Achilles Moorman and Elizabeth (Adams) about 1770/1771 in Virginia. Andrew was born 02 Dec 1744 in, Campbell Co., Virginia and died 10 Mar 1791.
  7. Bolling Clark - born 16 Mar 1751 in Virginia; died 04 Dec 1818 in Campbell Co., VA. He married Elizabeth Cheadle on 27 Apr 1791 in Albemarle Co., VA. Elizabeth was born 01 Sep 1760 in Caroline Co., VA and died 20 May 1845.
  8. Elizabeth Clark - born 04 Jan 1754; married Joseph Anthony, son of Joseph and Elizabeth (Clark).
  9. James Craven Clark - born on 16 Jan 1757 in Virginia and married Lucy Cheadle on 10 Jan 1785 in Albemarle Co., VA. Lucy was born in 1758 in Virginia and died in 1811. James died in 1805 in Campbell Co., Virginia.

The third of eleven children born to Captain Robert & Mourning (Lewis) Adams of Henrico Co (now Goochland) VA, Judith married Micajah Clark in Oct 1736 in Louisa Co VA, son of Captain Christopher & Penelope Bolling (Johnson) Clark of New Kent Co VA. They had twelve children, eight sons and four daughters.
