Judith is not listed in the will made "This 5 of May 1670 John Knight of Newbury Sen." (see http://trees.wmgs.org/getperson.php?personID=I61088&tree=Schirado). Placing her as a sister of John & Richard Knight, the immigrants

In 1653 Hugh March he appeared before the court when his wife Judith was before it for wearing a silken scarf in public. In that case, Hugh displayed evidence that he "held Worthe in excess of 200". The case was dismissed

Traditional family stories say that the last time all the members of this family were together was at the funeral of their mother, Judith in December of 1675. After that, certain differences arose between Hugh and his son John March. These differences led to harsh words, and, from the time of his marriage in 1676 Hugh was not to have "a cordial father-to-son talk" with John.

Judith Knight came to Newbury with her family in 1635. Her husband Hugh March, although he was a servant when he came to Newbury, must have been successful later. In 1653, Hugh March appeared before the court when his wife Judith was before it for wearing a silken scarf in public. In that case, Hugh displayed evidence that he "held Worthe in excess of 200". The case was dismissed. Apparently, you were not to flaunt your wealth.
