Katharine Buehler

Outside of their nine children no record down the line on Katharine and Jacob. Catherine Gisch is the daughter of Johann Mathias and Catherine Gisch. She married John Jacob Baylor(Buehler) about 1754 Lancaster Co, Pa Chilren are Jacob, Anna Marie, Christian, Mary, Elizabeth, Christina, Barbara, Martin, George.

From the Book Chronicles of the Scotch Irish Settlements in Virginia Book XXIV page 421 Catherine Baylor, wife of Jacob Baylor, by Anderson Anderson vs. Jacob Baylor-Lived faithfully with defendant in Virginia and Pennsylvania and is now aged and infirm, having raised twelve children.

Is this a divorce or is she in a nursing home needing health care? Most of the first two generations and some of the third are buried as Gisch's. In court records we find Gish/Kish and Gisch.
