Mrs. Catherine Kammerer, 93, of 20 Selma St., Plymouth, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Erma Goelzer, Thursday afternoon after a lingering illness. Born Feb. 6, 1869, in the Town of Greenbush, the daughter of the late Phillip and Catherine Muth Raeder, she attended district school and married A. F. Kammerer May 27, 1890 at the Town of Russell Reformed Church. Following their marriage, the couple lived in Sheboygan for a year before moving to a farm in the Town of Rhine in 1891. She made her home with their daughter and son-in-law, Mrs. and Mrs. Roland Goelzer, Plymouth since 1949. Mr. Kammerer preceded her in death in 1950. Mrs. Kammerer was a member of the Elkhart Lake Community United Church of Christ and of the Senior Lakes Aid Society of the congregation. Surviving are the daughter, Mrs. Goelzer; a son, Martin, Town of Rhine; seven grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren. A daughter, a granddaughter, five sisters and five brothers preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at the Elkhart Lake United Church of Christ. The Rev. Stanley Kuck will officiate and burial will be in the Elkhart Lake Cemetery."
