"ELKHART LAKE – Mrs. Mary Edeler, nee Raeder, died at the Columbia hospital at Milwaukee on Sunday morning, after having undergone an operation several weeks ago.

The deceased was born August 10th 1878 in town Greenbush. After living in town Plymouth for two years, the family moved to Town Russell, where Mr. Edeler died 37 year ago. The deceased sold the farm to her two sons, Martin and Oscar, and later lived with her daughter, Mrs. Philip Reichert at New Holstein for four years. Six years ago she moved to this village.

The deceased is survived by five children as follows; Mrs. Philip Reichert, New Holstein, Mrs. Alex Schroeder, Greenbush; Mrs. William Wessel, Greenbush; Martin and Oscar of Plymouth. There are also two sisters, Mrs. Wm. Schroeder, Greenbush; Mrs. Fred Kammerer, Elkhart Lake, and three brothers, Valentine Raeder, Greenbush; Martin of here, and John of Sioux Falls, So. Dak. Also twenty-one grandchildren.

The funeral took place Wednesday from the home here to the Evangelical church at town Russell, with burial in the adjoining cemetery beside her husband. Rev. F. W. Zeh of here officiated. August 20, 1925
