Lyla Jean, onlv daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Thomas, Shepparton, wore a gown of French lace over satin and a cream-colored Brussels net veil. The ceremony was performed by Rev. L. J. Gomm, at the Kew Baptist church. The bride was attended by Miss Myra Hing and the bridegroom's sister, Miss Olive Herbert, who wore pink crepe frocks. The bridegroom, was attended by his brother. Mr. Lawrence Herbert, and the bride's brother, Mr. Roy Thomas. The reception was held at the Victoria.
