Decatur Herald 9/26/1891:
Retta, wife of J.F. Wilson, of Prescott, Arizona, died of consumption at 5 o'clock Saturday night, July 25, at the home of her father, David Blalock in Mt. Zion.
The deceased was born and raised in Mt. Zion. About twelve years ago, she was married to J.F Wilson, an attorney of Prescott, Arizona, who with a daughter, aged 10 years survives her. About a month ago, Mrs. Wilson came home to Mt. Zion from Arizona, that she might die among the scenes of her childhood if she could not regain her health.
The funeral will occur Monday forenoon at the Mt. Zion C. P. Church.
