Barger (Jacobs). She died December 4, 1979 at the University Hospital in Omaha after being hospitalized since October 4, 1979.

Lila was born September 23, 1932 in Omaha, Nebraska, to the late Roy and Florence Jacobs of Blair. She graduated from Blair High School in 1951.

She was married March 31, 1954 to Harvey E. (Buck) Barger and spent her married life in Tekamah.

Lila worked at the Blair Telephone Co. for some years and was working at Martin Insurance Co., in Tekamah at the time of her death. She was very active in the First Baptist Church in Tekamah.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Cynthia Jo, her parents, 4 brothers, Kenneth, Russell, Jimmy, Stuart, and one sister, Doris.

She is survived by her husband, Harvey, one son, Michael, one daughter, LeAnn, one brother, Virgil Jacobs of Blair, 4 sisters, Mrs. Carl (Norma) Helms of Spokane, Washington, Mrs. George (Frances) King, Mrs. Harold (Evelyn) Davis both of Blair, Mrs. Kayo (Shirley) Moore of Omaha, Nebraska, nieces and nephews and scores of friends.
