• Moved to Lunenburg Co., VA about 1762
• Member of the House of Burgesses from Lundenburg Co. 1769 - 70-71 and 76
• Member of the Convention of Virginia from Lunenburg Co., May 6, 1776 at Williamsburg, VA.
