Lt.-Col. Henry Scrymgeour-Wedderburn of Wedderburn and Birkhill

• Born on 28 June 1872.
• Son of Henry Scrymgeour-Wedderburn of Wedderburn and Birkhill and Juliana Braddell.
• Married Edith Moffat, daughter of John Moffat and Jessie Fulton Arthur, on 30 July 1901.
• Died on 12 May 1924 at age 51.
• Captain in the service of the Gordon Highlanders. In 1911 he carried Royal Standard of Scotland in place of his father at King George V's Coronation.
  

He fought in the First World War in 1914, where he was mentioned in despatches.
Lieutenant-Colonel of the 5th Battalion, Black Watch. He succeeded to the title of 10th Earl of Dundee [S., 1660] on 1 February 1914, de jure. He succeeded to the title of 12th Viscount Dudhope [S., 1641] on 1 February 1914, de jure. He was commanding officer of the 5th Battalion, Black Watch (RHR).
