Married in 1778 to Charlotte Ashmore. Isham served as a Lt., 3rd Virginia State Regiment in the Revolutionary War. DAR# A064156

He lived at "Woodbourne", Fauquier. Military service in 1777 Lieutenant in Third Virginia Regiment, payment in land 2,666 acres, resigned 1778 because of eye damage caused by smallpox. Inherited on 8 Sep 1778 "Soldiers Retreat" and "South Run" per Gott, DB 6. Will on 24 Sep 1787 and probated on Sept. 24, 1787 in Fauquier Co., Va.
