One account has him escorting British prisoners, and another has him present at Yorktown, VA during the British surrender end

Lt. Martin enlisted in Capt. Benjamin Harris' company. He received his commission from Governor Thomas Jefferson & he was at the siege at Yorktown. HIs pension was allowed for 7 months, as Lieutenant in the Virginia line.

He was at the siege of Yorktown. His pension was allowed for seven months as lieutenant Virginia line.
