About Luther Pearre Boyer
LUTHER PEARRE BOYER, Maugansville, died in a Baltimore hospital Saturday at 9:30 pm, after an illness of several weeks, aged 59 years.
Born and reared at Fairplay, he was the son of the late Charles E and Katherine (Artz) Boyer. He had resided in Maugansville for 24 years.
Surviving are his wife, Anna (Smith) Boyer; daughters, Mrs. Lorrain Lewis, Maugansville; Mrs. Betty Lewis, St Louis, Mo; Mrs. Thelma Oldham, Hagerstown; sons, Charles W, Maugansville; Harold L, Nashville, Tenn; 13 grandgchildren; and sister, Mrs. Harriet Showman, Fairplay.
The body was taken to the Coffman Funeral Home where the funeral will b held Wednesday at 2 pm by Rev Joseph Clem. Interment will be in the Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Broadfording. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this evening from 7 to 9.
