About Lydia Elizabeth Gorham
Lydia was a devoted churchgoer and was organist at Rye Park's Church of England for many years. She was also a successful exhibitor at local shows where her beautiful flowers and excellent cooking took out many prizes.In middle age, however, her health began to fade through Addisons Disease. After many years of suffering she passed away on 9th February 1942 aged 56.
