Lydia Child, daughter of Ruth Church and Joseph Child, descendant of Richard Warren of the Mayflower, was born at Springfield on 2 June 1706. She married David Ingersole at Springfield on 13 March 1720/1. She died sometime before her husband's second marriage on 9 July 1739.

He was born 30 SEP 1699 in Westfield, Hampden Co., MA, and died 23 MAR 1773 in Great Barrington, Berkshire Co., MA. He re married to Submit Horton on 9 JUL 1739.
