About MUDr. Jan Martin

MUDr Jan Mautner was a student of medicine and sports teacher at Maccabi Brno, where he met his partner, Fredy Hirsch. After the occupation, he moved to Prague and worked with Hirsch at Hagibor with the Jewish youth. He survived the war, found a new partner, finished his medical degree, and worked as a doctor. He died in 1951 of the TB he contracted in the camps.
