Margaret (Norman) Morgan migrated to New England during the Puritan Great Migration (1621-1640).

Disputes and Conflicts

About son Joseph Morgan: In 1694, Samuel Weed indicated three sons of Robert were deceased without issue, Samuel Morgan, administrator, being alive. https://archive.org/stream/probaterecordsof02mass#page/356/search/M.... Many texts indicate that the three deceased sons were Robert, Joseph and Benjamin. However the third is likely Moses who was deceased, and not Joseph as Anderson indicates Joseph Morgan, son of Robert Morgan, married Deborah Hart. GM: III: p. 230
Dispute about second marriage to Samuel Fowler. Although it has been stated in earlier texts by Perley and Stickney, that Margaret married Samuel Fowler, evidence for this union has been so far unsubstantiated. See: Richard Norman in GM cited below

Biography

Margaret (Norman) Morgan was born in Dorset, England.
Margaret Norman, daughter of Richard and Florence (___) Norman, was baptized on 4 February 1614/5 at Charminster, Dorset, England. [1]

The birth order of their sons Samuel, Joseph, Robert, Benjamin and Luke is unknown as they were all baptized as Salem, Massachusetts on the same date, June 23, 1650. [5] [6]
