Margaret Livingston is the daughter of William Livingston, 4th Lord Livingston.2 She married John Hay, 4th Lord Hay of Yester, son of John Hay, 3rd Lord Hay of Yester and Elizabeth Douglas, before 18 October 1533.1

From before 18 October 1533, her married name became Hay.1

She was the daughter of William Livingston, 4th Lord Livingston of Callendar, and his wife Agnes Hepburn, second daughter of Alexander Hepburn of Whitson. She was likely born c. 1510 else she would be considerably older than her husband.[1]

She married, shortly before 18 October 1533, John Hay, later Lord Hay of Yester, the son and heir of John Hay, third Lord Hay of Yester, and his first wife, Elizabeth Douglas, daughter of George, Master of Angus, and sister to Archibald (Douglas), sixth Earl of Angus.[2] He was born c. 1510.

He died c. 1555 and she survived him an d was living 11 February 1567.[3]

They had children.
