Body is removed From Box Elder County To Ogden
Margaret Neibaur Miller, 93, widow of William Miller, died on Sunday evening at 7:10
o'clock at the home of her daughter-in-law, Abba Miller, in Evans, Box Elder county. She was born in Preston, England, February 20, 1836, and emigrated to the United States in the spring of 1841 with her parents, Alexander and Ellen Brakel Neibaur. Alexander Neibaur was one of the first converts to the L.D.S. church in England, joining in 1838. He lived with his family in Nauvoo, Ill., until 1846, when the mormon settlers were driven out, and came to Salt Lake in 1848. Mr. Neibaur was the first watchmaker and dentist in Utah. The deceased married Mr. Miller in 1856. In 1857 they went to Provo when Johnson's army came west. From Provo they went to Kamas, living there until 1869, then on to Coalville, where they lived until 1887. Mr. Miller died in Spring Glen, on the Price river, in 1910, having moved there from Coalville. Mrs. Miller had lived in Salt Lake since her husband's death, being engaged in church work. She was president of the Spring Glen Relief society for 14 years. She was the mother of nine sons and five daughters. She is survived by the following sons and daughters; Mrs. Frederick Brind, Mrs. Herbert Savage, J. N. Miller and Maggie Miller, of Salt Lake, William P. Miller of Twin Falls, Idaho; Mrs. R. V. Keffer of Ogden, and Elliot Miller of Nephi. Brothers and sisters are; Mrs. C. W. Nibley, Hyrum and Nathan Neibaur, all of Salt Lake; Mrs. John O'Driscoll of Kamas. Forty-one grandchildren, 95 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren also survive. The body is at Lindquist & Sons' mortuary.
