Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at noon in the First LDS ward chapel 758 Eighth East street, for Nathan Alexander Niebaur, 86, of 931 Lake street who died Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. at his home of allments incident to age. Burial will be in Salt Lake cemetery. Mr. Neibaur was born in Salt Lake City on September 14, 1855, a son of Alexander and Ellen Breakel Neibaur. His father, said to have been one of the first Jews to join the LDS church, was a Utah pioneer, coming here in 1848 from Nauvoo Ill. Mr. Niebaur operated one of the first ranches in the Kamas area and hauled lumber to the early Park City mines. Later he worked as grading contractor on the construction of the Lehi-Mercur railroad, now abandoned. For several years he operated a livery stable in Salt LAke City. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Lena Borup Neibaur; two daughters, Mrs. Jesse G. Riser of Salt LAke City and Mrs. S. L. German of Eureka; four grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Sarah N. O'Driscoll of Kamas.
