Margaret Sanderson married John Fleming of Cardarroch. The marriage was booked at Abbey parish in Renfrewshire on 24 January 1674 [Scotland Marriages, 1561-1910, database, FamilySearch] https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XY3B-9Y2 The marriage booking reads as follows: "John Fleeming of Kerderogh in the parish of Cader and Margt Sanderson in this parish booked the 24" [Registrar General for Scotland, H. M. New Register House, Edinburgh, Abbey Marriages, 1670-1707, reference OPR.559/1].

Dowager Lady of Cardarroch

When Cardarroch was purchased by Thomas Peter in 1707 part of the estate was reserved to Margaret Sanderson for her lifetime: "Reserving always to Margaret Sanderson relict of the deceast John ffleeming sometime of Cardarroch her liferent of these pairts of the lands of Cardarroch called Lang muire with houses biggings yeards mosses muirs meadowes pairts pendickles and haill priviledges and pertinents belonging thereto whatsover".
