• Married: 1st gong with Bjørn Bukk , nephew of Erling Skakke , Etne. Bjørn Bukk fell in 1179, the battle of Kalvskinnet near Nidaros .
• Margretha was engaged to the cowling and bellows chief ' Simon Kåreson , son of Kåre from Orre on Jæren (Olru-Kåre). According to a Danish source, he was a very rich and noble man. Orre is next door to Reve on Jæren. With Simon Kåreson, Margretha Arnesdotter had these children:
• a) Philip Simonson (Philip the Bagler King), d.1217.
• b) Andres Simonson , d.1218.
