Gone to Rest

Mrs Martin Lustig died at her home in Grove township, Jasper county, Illinois, USA, July 21st, of that lingering illness, consumption. Death found her prepared for it. The deceased was born to Cincinnati Ohio in 1846, was married in 1862 (Note: She was married in 1865.), and then located in Cook County, Illinois .

In 1871, she moved to Jasper County, where she lived till her death. She was a loving mother, and faithful friend to all. She leaves seven children to mourn her loss, the oldest daughter being married to John Grace, of DieteRich, Cook, Illinois, USA. A loving mother from our threshold is gone, which leaves a vacant spot in our hearts that can never be filled. The deceased was buried at Island Grove, July 23rd. Her funeral was largely attended by relatives and friends.

Lustig, Mrs Martin - died at her home in Grove township on the 21st. She was a most excellent lady and the mother of Mrs John Grace, who lives near Dieterich.
