About Marianne Le Serrurier
Marianne le Serurier was the daughter of Jacques le Serurier and wife Elizabeth Leger She was born in Saint-Quentin, Aisne, Picardy France on October 4, 1675 and emigrated to London with her family, and from there, at the age of 10, to South Carolina. She married fellow Huguenot emigre Isaac Mazyck on October 14, 1693, and had eleven children with him. She died in South Carolina on April 3, 1732 and was buried at the French Protestant Huguenot Church cemetery in Charleston, South Carolina.
The family Bible has been preserved and lists the names and dates of birth of her children.
