MARIE EUTENEUER
Services for Marie Euteneuer, age 82, of Melrose, who died Wednesday, April 4, at Pine Haven/Pine Villa Care Center in Melrose, will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 7, 2001 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Melrose. Rev. Vincent Lieser will officiate, with burial following in the parish cemetery.
Marie Euteneuer was born Aug. 11, 1918 in Albany Township, Stearns County to Frank and Gertrude (Thull) Eickhoff. She worked several years at the St. Cloud Hospital. She married Elmer Euteneuer on Feb. 26, 1946. The couple farmed near Bowlus for several years, then farmed near St. Martin until their retirement in 1980. She moved to Melrose in 1980, and has resided at Parkview Manor in Melrose for the last two years. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Melrose, and the St. Ann's Christian Mothers of St. Martin.
Mrs. Euteneuer is survived by her children: Norman Euteneuer and his wife, Cyrilla of Albany; Marvin Euteneuer of Lexington, Ky.; Duane Euteneuer of Albany; and Florian Euteneuer and his wife, Jo Ann of Paynesville; sisters and brothers: Lorraine Hoppe and her husband, Ben of New Munich; Julitta Frericks of Sauk Centre; Raymond Eickhoff and his wife, Tillie of Albany; Dorothy Buerman and her husband, Robert of Paynesville; Norbert Eickhoff of Albany; Melvin Eickhoff and his wife, Norma of New Munich; Alois Eickhoff and his wife, Marian of Anoka; Regina Meemken and her husband, Archie of Melrose; eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Euteneuer on July 27, 1995; sister and brother, Evelyn Eickhoff and Valerian Eickhoff.
Serving as casket bearers will be Norman, Marvin, Duane, Florian, Jody, and Amy Euteneuer. Cross bearer will be Zachary Euteneuer, scripture bearer will be Heidi Euteneuer, honorary bearer will be Stacy Euteneuer.
