Marilyn Ann Christensen

Marilyn A. Christensen, 61, of Bremerton died Sunday in Bremerton.

Born at Harrison Hospital in Bremerton to John and Margaret (Ainsworth) Jarvis, she graduated from South Kitsap High School in 1962. In 1967, she married Albert E. "Chris" Christensen in Bremerton.

Mrs. Christensen had worked as a keypunch operator at Harrison Hospital from 1972 to 1981, in data processing at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard Supply Center in the 1980s and at the Willows Retirement Home in Bremerton from 1990 to 2001.

She loved driving and spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends. She also enjoyed doing things for others and making friends everywhere she went.

Mrs. Christensen was preceded in death by her husband on April 18, 1997; her son, Brian Christensen; and her sister-in-law, Phyllis Jarvis.
