WAX, Marilyn Joanne (nee Rogers) - Born June 16, 1924, Marilyn died

peacefully on Tuesday, November 22 with her husband Sidney and children at her side at Swedish Medical Center. She was the beloved wife of Sidney Wax. Her children Jeffrey and Shirley Stutz, Brian and Dean Stutz, Ellen and Steven Weidner, and Jonathan and Stacie Stutz will remember her lovingly. Marilyn was the adored grandmother of Eli, Adam and Eric, Sterling and Blair, Morgan, and Katie and Jaclyn, and great-grandmother of Shoham. She was the second daughter of Harold and Emma Rogers, predeceased by her sisters Helene and Lorraine, and brothers Fred, Morton and Herbert. Mourned by her brothers Bill, Sydney and Robert, and sisters-in-law Frances and Betty Ann Rogers. Marilyn was a vibrant, beautiful woman. Her life revolved around her family. To the end of her days, Marilyn and Sid rejoiced in celebrating holidays and simchas with children, grandchildren and the ever-expanding Rogers clan. She was a proud Jew and a hard-working volunteer for Temple, Hadassah and National Council of Jewish Women. The family is grateful for the devoted care of Dr. Lili Sacks, caregivers Anita, Betty, Lori, and Jeanne, and the staff of Brighton Gardens, Bellevue. Funeral services will be at Temple de Hirsch Sinai, 1511 East Pike Street, Seattle on Thursday, November 24 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Hills of Eternity Cemetery. Shiva at 9908 SE Fifth Place, Bellevue. Memorial donations may be made in Marilyn's name to Swedish Medical Center, Jewish Family Service or City of Hope Hospital.
