About Marion (aka 'Sarah') Fletcher
Marion was a kind hearted woman. She left a lighted candle in the front window of the house in case a lost wayfarer needed accomadation for the night. She was known by her family as 'Lion Heart' as she never gave in. She wished she had a biblical name, she called herself sarah and this is what is in her tombstone in Warracknabeal Cemetery. She died 15th October 1899.
