27 December 1585: Contract of wadset between Andrew Mason with the consent of John Myller of Mylnehill Kilwinning and John Salmont of Easter Bridgend of Kilwinning, his curators and of Bessie Myller, his mother on the part and Patrick Peiblis (Peebles), burgess in Irvine and Marion Montgomery, his spouse with the consent of John Peiblis, provost of Irvine, his goodsir and tutor, on the other part whereby the said Andrew Mason with consent foresaid binds himself to infeft the said Patrick Peebles, his heirs and assignees in the said lands under redemption on payment of 100 merks.
