“ I'm convinced that the daughter of Robert Clarke the Surveyor married John Compton. The Thomas Clerke above is actually Thomas Clarke a younger brother who married 1st to Anne Barber and 2nd to Julian Mudd. This Thomas Clarke's daughter from his 1st marriage to Anne Barber was Mary Clarke who married William Compton son of John Compton and Mary Clarke daughter of Robert Clarke the Surveyor. The presence of Thomas Stonestreet makes it clear to me. Adam Clarke son of Thomas Clarke and Anne Barber and Francis Clarke son of John Clarke and Ann_______ were both on documents with Stonestreet Family.“
