She was the daughter of William and Jane, who came in the employ of Capt. John Mason to build a mill at South Berwick, ME. She was born 1644 in Portsmouth, Rockingham, NH and died in Rye, Rockingham, NH between 1681-1686.

married "at the home of the Chadbournes" (LND, 241) by 1666 (daughter's birth) 

Mary, as the child of William Chadbourne, received a small sum in the will of her uncle Humphrey written in 1667
