NSW Death Record 9350/1904 GERARD MARY (parents) WILLIAM & MARY (GRAFTON)

Clarence and Richmond Examiner
13 Aug 1904:
GERARD.—Our Upper Copmanhurst correspondent writes: Mrs. G. Gerard, whose death was announced last issue at the age of 91, was born in Somersetshire, England. She came with her husband to N.S.W. in 1848, and settled at Ermington, on the Clarence, afterwards going to Yulgilbar for several years. In 1859 they purchased a farm at Copmanhurst and removed here, where they had a comfortable home.
She leaves one son and five daughters, the latter being: Mrs. G. Lollback, Busby's Flat; Mrs. J. Lollback, Newbold; Mrs. John McKee, Copmanhurst; Mrs. Thomas McKee, Stockyard Creek; and Mrs. S. Causeley, Chatsworth. Deceased leaves many grand-children and great grand-children.
Deceased was widely known for her charitable disposition, and was very highly esteemed. This was evidenced by the large number that attended the funeral at which Rev. Mr. Froomes read the burial service.
