Mary Haisley

[Jesse Haisley (1791-1840) & Ruth Kendall (1792-1864)]. Her mother-in-law Ruth Haisley was a minister of the Quaker church in New Garden (1865 Wayne County Citizens and Soldiers Directory). On 5-18-1850 Allen Haisley and wife Mary get a certificate to the Back Creek MM. They went to Iowa for their daughter Mary A. Overman was born in Iowa in 1850. On 7-17-1854 Allen and wife Mary and child Eunice received on certificate from the Back Creek MM to New Garden MM. On 2-18-1854 Allen and wife Mary and children Eunice and Lavina get certificate to the Back Creek MM. Mary (Overman) Haisley died 17 Jan 1865, in Liberty, Grant County; Allen Haisley had died 8 Aug 1857. In 1860 Mary A. Haisley age 28 was living with her mother-in-law Ruth Haisley age 68 and her daughter Mary A. Overman age 10 in Liberty, Grant County. Ruth (Kendall) Haisley died 11 Nov 1864.
