Mary was born in 1665. Mary Cheney . Mary had guardianship over her nephew Abiel Cheney b 1695 son of her brother William who died before Abiel was born

John Holbrook, Jr., married Mary Cheney September 24, 1684. They had four children:

John, born November 4, 1686; Ebenezer, afterwards of Pomfret, Conn.; Ralph; and Mehitable; who married Lieut. Nehemiah May, of Roxbury and Woodstock, Conn.

Mary Cheney, born April 17, 1665, died April 24, 1751, was the sixth child of Thomas and Jane (Atkinson) Cheney, and grandchild of William Cheney, the emigrant.
