About Mary Holladay

http://hometown.aol.com/vafdking/hardyj1.htm

I. JOHN HARDY SR was born in 1660 at England. He married CHARITY (--?--) in 1681 at England. He died before 1723 at Chowan, North Carolina.

Their children include:

He [John Hinton] married Mary Hardy, who married very shortly after his death, 1732, to Thomas Holliday, much to the intense opposition of her children, in fact family tradition claims that Malachi her youngest son was so indignant that he left Chowan and followed his elder brother into the wilds of North Carolina, where he settled in Johnston County.
