Mary Branch, married Thomas Jefferson I in Henrico Co., VA circa 1678/9. This Thomas Jefferson is first certain Jefferson ancestor of POTUS Thomas Jefferson. She petitioned for a probate of his will, now lost, 07 Dec 1697, and his estate accounts, mentioning children, Thomas and Martha were returned 01 Oct 1698 (Henrico Wills and Deeds 1697-1704, p114).
Mary Branch Jefferson married secondly Joseph Mattox, on 17 Feb 1700/01 (Henrico Co., Wills and Deeds 1697-1704, p243).
The children of Thomas and Mary (Branch) Jefferson I were:

Comments
Branchiana has her as the daughter of Christopher's brother Thomas. Note that The William and Mary Quarterly originally misattributed Mary as the daughter of William, Christopher's brother.[6] This was corrected in a later edition.[10]
There is no reliable source that indicates that Mary Branch's middle name was "Martha".
