Mary was born btw 1650 and 1653 in Yarmouth, Barnstable Co., MA. Her maiden name was either Crowell or Crow. The above source lists her parents as Yelverton Crowell & Elizabeth Hammond. Several sources agree that Mary died on 09/18/1727, with some saying she died in Windham, Windam County, CT, where she is also buried.
Mary was married twice, first to Joshua Alleine (modern spelling: Allen), who was an early settler of Mansfield, CT, but ended up in Windham, CT. He died on 12/27/1699. According to a family note, there is a grave marker somewhere that says Mary and Joshua Alleine had 7 sons and 3 daughters: John, Joshua, Gideon, Yatherton, Samuel, George, Eleazer, Miriam, Mary and Sary. Sary is also listed in "Vital Records of Windham ..." as "Sarah". The above referenced gravestone says Mary (Crowell) Alleine married Mr. William More (Moore) after Joshua died.
